The Reverend Susanna DesMarais Rev. Susanna has been an ordained priest since 2004 and served congregations in Nebraska and New York State. She retired at the beginning of the pandemic in 2020 and has since worked at three parishes on an interim basis, including one here in the Diocese of San Diego. Although she served parishes out of state, she is from California, having spent most of her life here. Married again, and now a grandmother (woo hoo!), she has gladly returned to her home state where the breezes blow in the cool ocean air. She has two grown sons, Nick who lives here in San Diego and father of that grandson, and David who lives in Washington state); and a step son, Cliff (Chicago.)
